Advent Candle Cards

Advent is a season of waiting, and most of us need help with it. These printable Advent Candle Cards give your family a simple way to slow down and watch for the light, one Sunday at a time.

Each card follows the same short rhythm, so it works even on a busy night with little ones at the table:

• Come, Lord Jesus: a brief reflection on the week’s theme
• Read: a Scripture passage
• Reflect: one question to talk over together
• Light: words to say as you light the candle
• Pray: a collect from the Book of Common Prayer

You’ll light candles for Hope, Peace, Joy, Love, and Christ, ending on Christmas Eve. A one-page introduction, “What Is Advent?”, explains the season and offers easy ways to keep it, like decorating slowly, protecting your December calendar, and singing Advent hymns before Christmas carols.

Print the cards, set them by your wreath, and begin on the First Sunday of Advent.
